My partner and I have decided we would like to try for a baby. We both came to the same understanding in October 2019. We have been TTC conceive ever since. It’s now January and there’s still no luck. He has a sperm test booked for next week and I’ve had an ultra sound just to see if my pcos has cleared up but no it hasn’t.

I informed my doctor about what we’d decided and she is the one who recommended I go for the scan, due to the fact I had a scan about a year ago so something more recent is obviously better xx

I received a letter in the post from my doctor who’s been trying to contact me and I called the minute I had the chance too and I was told that they want to put me on metformin. Before in October when We decide to consult my doctor about our decision on trying for a baby she said that I’d be pregnant by February. It’s now January and my period is due tomorrow 😖

Any tips on metformin ? I’m not sure on my dosage recommendations yet as my appointment isn’t till Monday. This medicine will be the first attempt or prescription I’ve been given to help with my journey
