One thing sex Ed never covers is those dreaded doctors appointments with the OB/GYN.

I’m 15, and seeing an OB/GYN for the first time after my GP referred me to one. My periods are extremely irregular (less than 4 a year) after three years of having it. As y’all could imagine, I’m terrified. My GP didn’t mention what tests exactly they would want to run possibly, but she did mention them wanting to check my ovaries and hormone levels.

What tests might they run? Will I have to have an exam?
