Natural killer cells

I’ve had 2 miscarriages and just seen a specialist who wants to book me for a Larascopy as she thinks I have high levels of natural killer cells. Essentially my body is killing my babies as it’s attacking the embryo like it’s some virus attacking my body. Anyone had this? Keen to hear from you.

FYI - it’s nothing to do with my blood type

My sister has this, took 10 years to diagnose her and by that time she had 20+ miscarriages because of it. As soon as she was diagnosed she got put on a plan and finally managed to have her healthy baby girl!

That’s sad for her. I went to a fertility specialist after 2 losses and they found the high levels but before they could treat me I fell pregnant again. 3 losses underway. Hopefully this next one will be it for me.

Hi I have high natural cells and have had 6 miscarriages so far and no successes . My next step is ivf so I can take all the drugs before I get pregnant

Thanks for sharing. The found the high levels after I found out I was pregnant again. I went fir my scan and no heartbeat so I think I’m about to rough my 3rd loss. It’s so hard. Doctors said once they remove the pregnancy they can treat me with intra-lipids injected daily and steroids. The course will go from 1 month to 3 months to reduce the numbers and trick my immune system. Then we can try again hopefully.

The doctors that I saw after my miscarriage thought it could be my blood type. If you are Rh negative and you’re baby is RH positive. You’re body could be creating antibodies against the baby
