Cold medicine while breastfeeding?

Is it ok to take any? If so, which ones? What else can I do to help feel better & keep my lil one healthy I’m praying she doesn’t catch this from me 😫

You’ll want to be careful about which cold medicines you take while breastfeeding. My doc told me to stick with meds that are safe for pregnancy. The biggest thing to be aware of is that many decongestants and cold medicines can impact your supply—you can bring it back up but you may need to supplement with milk you’ve frozen or formula if it’s impacted too much.
