To much milk?

My sons 10 weeks almost 11 and drinks formula! He’s now drinking 7 oz durning the day and 5 at night, is it to much?

How much does he weigh? How much is he drinking in a 24 hour period? 
Sounds like a lot to me, only because my doctor told me 4oz at one time is too much for my 9 week old. 
If he’s spitting a lot of it up, that’s a good sign that it’s too much. My doc said less ounces more frequent is preferred.

Mine was drinking that until about 12 weeks she started to slow down (I think I need to change nipple to a size 2). My dr said as long as theyre hungry, feed them🤷🏻‍♀️ as long as they’re not excessively spitting up, don’t seem fussy, etc.
