My girl was 8lb 3oz at birth and after a week she hadn’t gained anything from the loss she had from the first doc visit so I freaked out and began offering an oz of formula after nursing if she seemed to need it which was basically every time almost. When I pump every 3hrs the most I get is 2-2.5oz total! She is only content with 4oz, so every bottle is half and half. When she sleeps all night I can pump up to 5oz total. I honestly nurse her when I have the Time to sit there long enough to do so, I have an almost 3yr old that keeps me on my toes!

My boys had a few bottles of formula in the hospital because of low blood sugar issues, and they’ve each had one formula bottle once afterwards because they stayed with my mom at 8 weeks (and it’s hard to pump anything when you’re exclusively breastfeeding very hungry twins). Otherwise, 100% booby here. 🙌🏻
