Smoking weed while pregnant?

My friend just found out she’s pregnant. Estimated between 16 and 17 weeks and shes been smoking weed every single day. Now she has anxiety and is freaking out wondering if her baby is ok

Her baby is most likely fine. There have been no studies confirming that weed harms a baby. The biggest concern would be the smoke inhalation and carcinogens if she smokes it. Something like that could cause asthma later on. My birth mother smoked cigarettes and I had asthma as a child but I’m otherwise fine.

I smoked and my baby came out healthy.. But I would tell her to stop because they do drug test you at the hospital.
