Is 186 too high for a babys heart rate? I was 10 weeks when we got our first ultrasound. They didnt make a big deal out of it but it seemed high.

If it’s constantly that high, there could potentially be a problem, but all babies need to have spikes that get that high every 10 minutes or so. It’s got something to do with signs of healthy neurological development 🤷‍♀️ 
I’m sorry I can’t explain it better. I was in the hospital twice this week for reduced movement and while I was hooked up to the monitor I noticed the heart rate go up quite a few times. They said it was a good thing and explained why but I can only remember the basics of the explanation haha.

I just had an ultrasound at 8w2d and babies HR was 180. She said that was a good rate!

No that’s normal. Some go up to 200, and they’re perfectly healthy. My daughters heart rate at 9 weeks was 189 🙂
