Whats the difference between miscarrage and spotting being ok?

Blood on toilet paper not reaching the line been 3 days now on and off arrange of different colours pink, red and dark brown stingy mucus nothing like a period some cramping here and there have a Drs apt tomorrow but what's normal and will I know if I have miscarried ???????

There isn’t really a standard normal for bleeding during pregnancy. However, usually brown spotting is considered old blood so not as concerning. Many women bleed during pregnancy though due to reasons that aren’t threatened miscarriages for instance a subchorionic hemorrhage, irritated cervix, an infection, etc. You should always contact your doctor if you have any kind of spotting or bleeding though especially if it is bright red, has clots, and you get very bad cramps that doesn’t get better with Tylenol.

This is just my experience. When I miscarried it was red blood . I was at work and felt a warm gush . Then it was a lot. By the time I went to the Er they asked  for a urine sample so I did that. It wasn’t too bad. About. A half hour later I went up for an ultrasound and was told to empty my bladder prior. There’s was all blood in the toilet . They did it and after even more blood . No cramping until 8 -10 hours later in bed that night and it hurt really badly . If your worried go to the ER

I had this for a few weeks it stopped about 4 days ago and started just under 5weeks, I’ve had 2 scans so far and everything was ok and I go in tomorrow for another one. 
Talk to your doctor and get checked out just incase x

I’ve been having the same thing, had some red blood went to doctors had a scan for ectopic came back that I’m fine now I have more brownish spotting and cramping. 5 weeks too it’s so scary not really knowing if your having a miscarriage or not.
