Is driving safe?

Like how far is too far for you to drive in first trimester? Like I have to get myself to work by myself and I would say yes .. I drive a lot and as I heard driving isn’t that safe while pregnant?

This is my 5th pregnancy and I've driven my other kids to and from school and general driving since first trimester right up til giving birth. Drivings fine, unless you feel unsafe driving. Theres no law to say you cant drive, only you'll know how safe you feel behind the wheel.

This is my 4th pregnancy and I’ve never been told I couldn’t drive. I drive daily, take my kids to school/the sitter and go to work.

I’m 34 weeks and drove over 200 miles one way last week and back this week. While yes it is true you and baby are more likely to die in a car accident than labor, it doesn’t need to be avoided.

It’s probably more of a comfort rather then a safety thing. Which is just the same as sitting for too long- you’ll sometimes just need to change positions. If you’re driving more then 2+hours you may get uncomfortable and want a break but it won’t cause any harm. You also may get more drowsy if you’re not sleeping properly 🤷🏻‍♀️

Driving is fine when you’re pregnant, especially during the first trimester. It’s only an issue when your get bigger and you need to move around every once and a while. If it’s a three hour commute or longer then pull over and take a break. But you’re fine.
