First doctors appointment

When do you ladies suggest calling the doctor to schedule the first appointment. Im 3w+4 days today. 11dpo. I know exact dates because we were tracking everything. My period is due in 3 days. Im wondering should i go ahead and schedule an appointment or wait until next week. I think waiting would be good, but i would also like to get a blood test to see where my hcg levels are to make sure the pregnancy is viable before i get too excited. Any opinions?
