So...we took a home test on 1/4 and it was positive 🥳 I had some spotting, just brown discharge and mild discomfort the same day (which is why I tested, I was freaked out by my late AF and abnormal discharge).

1/5...all was good...then literally had one spot of light red blood last night so we went to the ER just to make sure all was okay (1st time Mama here 🙋🏼‍♀️) and the ER doc said my HCG Beta is only 260.

I would be approximately 4-5 weeks (LMP was 12/4) and according to the ER, this is too low and I may be miscarrying 😔, so we’re to schedule follow-up bloodwork with my OBGYN.

But, I found a few charts online where my HCG level is on-par with how early I am and doesn’t necessarily mean my low HCG is a sign of miscarrying.

Looking for guidance mamas...I’m scared and emotional and nauseous (still experiencing preggo symptoms as well 🤷🏼‍♀️) and appreciate any kind words ❤️

*UPDATE*

Y’all were so right!! Thank you 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Went to my OB today and she told me to forget everything from the ER, as long as my numbers are doubling, every 48 or so hours, there’s no reason to worry 😊🙏🏼.

I had a second beta today, scheduled a third for Friday, and my first ultrasound for 1/21...where *hopefully* we’ll get to hear our Mini’s heartbeat for the 1st time!!

I’m going to try and relax a bit (it was so much easier to do when we could have a glass of 🍷though, right!?), and enjoy the experience ❤️.
