Help!

So 1 week ago I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and had surger to remove my left fallopian tube.

I was an hour away from home and didnt know the surgeon. He never checked on us or spoke with us after surgery.

Fast forward to today (7 days later)

I receive a call from his office asking to schedule a second surgery. There was never any mention of this prior. The nurse says he wants to schedule a diagnostic laparoscopy.

My questions is-- whos experienced this? Did you need a second surgery? I'm scared and not sure what to do. (I have an apt with my regular OB tomorrow for follow up but wanted advice.)
