How often can you take plan b?

I’m just wondering because the last time I took it, I had some bleeding with a bit of tissue coming out. I know you can take it once per cycle which is what I did, but I’m looking into getting BC as I don’t want to keep taking EC all the time. I’m just wondering if any ladies know if taking plan b too often is dangerous or not? 
** The bleeding happened a few months ago but I’m just wondering now lol**

It’s not recommended to take Plan B more than twice a year.
If you’ve taken it more than twice a year you need to be on real birth control.

I don’t know why you want to put your body through that. Have protected sex until you get proper hormonal birth control. I just remember the one time I had to take plan B and it was horrible

U will get people saying that ur not supposed to take it more than 2-3 times a year, but that’s not what the official plan b website says. It doesn’t say anything about a specific number of times ur supposed to/not supposed to... only that it’s not meant to be used often as a regular method of birth control. That said, taking it countless times can seriously throw ur body out of wack for a long time, especially considering taking it just once can do that. Plus, it’s believed that the more often u take it, the less effective it is over time. So, definitely get on a more regular method of birth control asap!
