Do I HAVE to get all the air out of breastmilk bags?

Okay so I have over 200 ounces of breastmilk currently frozen in the Parents Choice storage bags. I just found out that apparently you’re supposed to get all of the air out of the bag before closing it. WTF... I have not been doing that this whole time... Does this mean I need to throw it all out? What’s the reason for having to get all the air out???!

Just watch them for freezer burn as they’ll be more prone with the air in there.  It definitely won’t keep as long but just keep an eye on it.

It's easier to store and less prone to freezer burn when the air is let out

It’s fine. Just try to get it out the best you can. It’s impossible to get it all out. I use the nanobe bags and they are hard to get it all out.
