Anyone else experience this??

I had a D&C on December 6th. Since then everything has been super messed up including my tests. Staying blazing positive and then going unexpectedly light and then back to dark. So finally I went to get my levels checked thinking maybe that it was a new pregnancy. I got tested and hcg was 86, retested today and only down to 84 :(! The ER doc was absolutely no help at all!! Only thing he suggested was going back in a week for a repeat even after saying he expected it should have gone down more.. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😭 I asked about checking me for retained tissue and he said no that it will “go down In a few months” but then proceeded to say that wasn’t his specialty. Anyone else have this experience? Someone please please help :(
