Is it true, probability of miscarriage goes down significantly once you hear HB?

Makes me so nervous.. I've had 2 previous miscarriages I'm currently 10+5 saw heartbeat at 8+1 and heard at at 9+5. But have people telling me they had heartbeat then lost it at 12weeks etc. Which is making me worry even more.

It’s very much true .
That said , disaster can happen at any time regardless of a heartbeat that was heard a day ago or not.
Here’s what I’ve learned during my very long 41 week and very much high risk pregnancy...
1. There is no safe period during pregnancy. Anything can happen at any moment unfortunately. What we can do is hope for the best .
2. Hearing the heartbeat today , has nothing to do with what tomorrow may bring ( ties on with number 1 above )
3. Even after a healthy pregnancy and delivery , things can go wrong .
I’m 3 years post delivery and I can tell you for a fact that I have worried for an entire first year.. non stop. Is she breathing ? Why is she spitting up? Why is she crying so much? Omg why is she NOT crying at all? Is she ok,? Why is her pooop green ? Is she breathing? Can she move from that position?
Even now at 3 years old, I’m always on the lookout . 
In reality..the worry free days are a thing of the past when you get pregnant.
First is worrying about a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Then you worry about sids and making sure baby is well and alive and thriving . Later you worry about baby burning themselves or cutting themselves as toddlers .. braking bones etc. later you get to see them getting their LEARNERS PERMIT AND DRIVE A VEHICLE. That will be the last night you will ever sleep at all at night 😅 worrying about a teen that just got their permit , will drive you nuts !
It never ends .. it truly never ends .
So..what I choose to do? Is keep my sanity and not worry about a damn thing ( as much as I can of course, cause who can REALLY not worry at all..)

There are 2 big hurdles. One is the heartbeat. If you get a heartbeat, yes the probability drops quite a lot. But then the placenta needs to form properly, which is done around 11 weeks. That's why drs advise waiting until around 12 weeks to announce publicly. Once you get a confirmed heartbeat after 12 weeks, the probability of loss is pretty miniscule.
