Teeth question mommas

OOookay lady’s, my 9 year old has a back took that is coming out the front side of her gum instead of pushing the baby tooth out so it can grow in properly. Her baby tooth is still firmly in place not lose, not showing ANY signs of being ready to come out. SOo with that being said obviously I am going to be making her a dentist appointment but my next question is ,is this a situation where they would surgically (by pulling or cutting ) remove the tooth?

Just curious as to what I should expect as news when we go
