My son has had an ear infection for two months now. We’ve finished three rounds of antibiotics (two amoxicillin and this last was amoxycillin with clavulanic acid) and he still has this dang infection. Everyone is miserable. My poor boy’s head is even all scratched up from him pulling at his ears constantly. At what point do I ask for a referral to the ENT? Two months just seems like a long time to have an infection! Especially after 3 rounds of antibiotics.
