First of all let me just say how guilty I feel right now not knowing exactly how to go about feeding my son his first foods, he started rice cereal at 4 months and puréed baby food at about 5 months but now he’s all of a sudden not interested in the baby food. He will only eat his rice cereal, I think he’s loosing his appetite because of teething (he has 3 teeth so far), he will also have some rice rusks once in a while for a little snack.

I know it’s time to start introducing regular table foods but I just don’t know what to even start with, I have given him little bits of food here and there just to taste and he seems to choke on it every time.

I feel so bad that I haven’t started foods yet and I know it’s time, and I know you’re supposed to introduce peanut butter and eggs by 6 months but I haven’t yet in fear of him choking. what did you start your babies with?
