I have had three losses and a chemical just since July 2018. First loss was at just shy of 5 weeks, second was conceived right away and ended up being a mmc at 10 weeks (stopped developing at 6weeks). Then a few months later I got pregnant again and my OB followed closely. She had me go for a scan at 6w4d but it was barely measuring 5 weeks (cystic like sac with a possible yolk sac). Ovulation was confirmed with a progesterone test. Two weeks later baby was only measuring 6w1d with no heartbeat. We ended it with a d&c and sent out for genetic testing. Confirmed trisomy 10 little girl. As much as I wanted to keep trying my boyfriend was done. I finally accepted I would never get my rainbow. I ordered birth control and was going to start with my next period. It never came. I’m now 9 weeks pregnant. At 6w5d the scan showed a tiny baby with heartbeat and was measuring 6w3d. Today I actually heard a faint heartbeat on the Doppler. ☺️ my first official OB appt was this past Friday and my doctor went ahead and started me on progesterone as a little bit of insurance. I’m praying we get to see our baby. Sent blood in for sneakpeek today. Can’t wait for the results ☺️
