Tell his doctor. It could be a number of things. Could be scar tissue, inflammation, a nerve issue, etc.

I don’t know if anyone on here would be able to help since it’s mostly all woman who can’t relate. That doesn’t seem like something I’d consider normal but maybe since surgery it’s just something that’s sensitive? He should consider asking his doctor if it keeps up though.

It could be ask scar tissue does that to some people. I would definitely have his doctor check things just to be sure.
