Meeting other pregnant women... I just want to be friends now!

Was shopping at Target today and just looking around the baby section getting ideas. There was another woman there with her family who was a little further along, but shopping around trying to get ideas. Her family and her were talking loudly about ideas for her baby girl and how hard and the other woman brought up how she does not want pink! It was impossible not to hear the convo.

I’m the exact same way and she saw my facial expression and says “can’t find anything purple, just pink, right?” I giggled and said I feel the exact same way and that I find out next week if it’s a boy or girl and I only like the boy stuff and not the girl stuff. Etc etc... we had a small chat and went our separate ways......

But now here I am at home just wishing I knew her for real, because I feel like we’d make good friends!

I wish It wouldn’t be weird to do “missed connections” simply for a friendship 😂😂
