At your frist gynecologist appointment will they check for std or and sti if u don’t ask them ago evan if your going on brith control

Mine checks for some not all, youd have to ask for something specific. But birth control doesnt mean you dont have an std? Im confused... what did you mean?

It really depends on the dr. Some won’t ask if you want to be tested and others will. It’s a good idea to bring it up so you know you’re clean when you get on bc

They might ask. Going on birth control doesn’t mean you’ve had sex. They didn’t test me at 14 when I went in to get the pill because my periods and acne were horrendous. I’ve asked for them my last visits though, they weren’t offered.
