So two years ago the guy I though I was going to marry broke up with me right after getting me a promise ring. We then got back together our senior year and he once again broke up with a week after telling his mom he wanted to propose. We have stayed close friends and he recently he told me he wanted a girl that truly loved and cared about him to come home to but didn’t want to get back with me yet because he is scared to hurt me again. He asked if I would be okay with cuddling and having some “fun” until he is financially stable and figures out if I am really the one he wants to be with. Should I do it and just take things slow with the chance of getting hurt or just stay friends with him. I haven’t had a relationship in two years because I love him and can’t get over him but I scared of getting hurt like that again.
