My 13 month old had a 102 temp Sunday night. Took him to doctor Monday morning. His temp was 101 and he had a little cough. They said everything looked good and swabbed him for flu and rsv and those came back negative. They said it was viral and sent us home. He hasn’t had a fever since Monday morning but his cough got A LOT worse. He sounds horrible and is up all night coughing. I give him zarbees cough medicine, he has a cool mist humidifier in his room, we do saline spray, and chest rub. Is there anything else I can do? I plan on taking him back to the doctor Friday if he’s still coughing to make sure it didn’t turn into anything.
