TMI BLOOD CLOT PHOTO ... so i’m 9 days pp and passed this last night, my bd said it doesn’t look the size of a golf ball but i thought it looked like the size of two .. i called my hospital and couldn’t reach them, would you go in if you passed this???

After I had my son they told me if I passed a clot bigger than a quarter to come to the hospital. I would definitely get checked. You go straight to L&D not the ER since you are still postpartum

I was told of its bigger than a quarter to come in cause that happened to me twice with my son

If you just pass the one then normal. If you pass more and go through 2-3 pads an hour go to the ER. I had that and had retained placenta. I bled uncontrollably, passed softball sized clots, and almost passed out in the ER bathroom. I had to have an emergency D&C at 10 days postpartum to get rid of extra placenta.
