Not sure if he likes me

There is a guy in my class that I have a crush on and we’ve hung out a couple of times. Each time we hang out we have so much fun and laugh all the time. I’m usually the person to message first however, I have stopped doing that because I wanted to see if he would. He did twice but hasn’t since then. I can’t tell if he likes me or if he’s just being friendly. I really like him but don’t know what to do.
