My daughter who is 17 just entered a relationship with a boy she's known since she was 4 years old. Her dad is usually strict when it comes to boys and he intimidates the hell out of them. That's why it surprised me when he stated that she needs to go on birth control. I told him hell no. She's underage. She can wait one more year. I don't even allow her to wear crop tops. Dads are supposed to protect their daughters, not give them room to have sex. I don't know any other dad who would ever mention birth control for their daughters ffs. I just needed to vent about that.
