My daughter is usually a great sleeper, goes down easy and sleeps through the night. Recently shes been waking up in the middle of the night. She sleeps in her own room with the door shut in a toddler bed and has a little nightlight. When we get up to check on her she’s standing by the door crying and when we open it she will run to her bed and lay back down, we tuck her in and try to leave but she starts to cry, all she wants is for us to be in there, doesn’t wanna be held or anything just us sitting next to her bed. Earlier I was between her bed and dresser and she must not of saw me because she shut up and started to cry but as soon she saw me she was fine and layed back down, she will continuously peek her eyes open and check if we’re still there. Eventually she falls back asleep but i was wondering if this could be signs of her being afraid of the dark? She doesn’t talk much so I can’t really ask her.
