My almost 21 month old says a lot of words & tries to say a lot more words but just doesn’t call me “mumma” yet . Husband says to wait patiently but I am so worried as to why & I am crying Everyday.

I am a SAHM who is with him all the time , I talk to him so much - he replies well sometimes in 1 word or sometimes 2 words but just doesn’t call me “mumma” . Calls his dad as “daaadaaa” though.

What could be the reason ?

He says other words with “m” like “moo” for moo moo cow , moom for moon , mik for milk .

What can I do to make him say it ? I mean how to encourage ? I am really so much worried about this . I just want to hear my miracle call me “mumma”
