Is cycle day 17 late for ovulation?

I’ve ovulated as early as CD 15 and as late as CD 17, and I have regular 28-31 day cycles

It depends on your individual cycle. I always ovulate on CD15, but some women ovulate earlier than that and some later. As long as you are confirming ovulation with OPK and tempting, no worries!
