So I work at my local Childrens hospital, I absolutely love my job. I worked so hard to get my job there but I fell pregnant shortly after my employment started. They worked with me through my whole pregnancy and delivery (I had a rough pregnancy) & I’m forever grateful.

I’m absolutely in love with my daughter and it’s breaking my heart to even think about leaving her to return to work

Therefore I’m now trying to figure out whether or not I should go back to work part time or not at all. I would still have to work these next 2 weeks so it would be considered leaving on good terms. I would only work 3 shifts since my coworker took my other ones - she asked me for them.

My husband makes the income where I could be a stay at home mom but I really hate to lose my position and seniority (I’ve been at my job almost a year). I mean regardless I’d have to leave my daughter for the 3 shifts I have to work to be able to leave on good terms, her daddy will be with her.

I’d only be required to work 20 hours a week if I chose to do part time.

I could really use some advice or opinions from the outside world.
