Do you wake your little one to breast/bottle feed them?

At any point throughout the day, morning or night. Just curious. Would also like to know why yes or why no. Thanks moms!

Depends on the situation. My baby had jaundice and was failure to thrive early on so yes. Without a medical reason then no not necessary.

I did when my daughter was a newborn and struggling to gain weight. Once she finally passed her birth weight I stopped waking her

I wake my daughter up to eat if it's going on 5 hours during the day. I try to keep her up more during the day so she will sleep at night. She is 8 weeks old. And she only wakes up twice at night, 1-2am and 5-7am. I am trying to get a schedule so I can go back to work

Docs say to wake to feed during the day every 3 hours when they are newborns/sleeping often. Even to wake at night during early stages. Afterwards - NEVAAAAA wake a sleeping babe🤪

I had to because baby frequently suffered from hypoglycemia the first 8 weeks of his life, so he couldn’t exceed 3 hours without eating.  At the moment, my pump is broken, so I do if I’m feeling really uncomfortable because I had mastitis every 2-6 weeks with my second and refuse to go through that again.

No I don’t wake my son up for the feeding but I will only wake him up when he is past the feeding hour, that’s all.

Not unless the nap was 3 hrs plus.  Otherwise he woke up pretty much whenever he was hungry

My first baby was a little boy and needed to eat every two hours for the first four months so I'd wake him up, because he needed to eat. My second baby is a big boy and I only wake him up if my boobs are hurting too much or if it feels like it's been way too long since he has eaten. So I'd say it depends on your baby.

I did at the start with both babies until they regained their birth weight and their jaundice was gone. After that with my first I didn't. With my second I'm waking him to feed every 3 hours as he is struggling to feed at the minute and I need to keep offering it to him.

We did when she was a newborn and needed weight on her. 
Now we only wake up after 15 mins extra napping so we stay on schedule. 
Now at 5.5 months she doesn’t need a bottle ASAP for health reasons (she’s a chunk 🥰) rather just her schedule. 
And of course now she wants tablefood too! 🥳 I’m excited to start that journey at 6 months.
