Bassinet?

What is everyone’s plan for sleep when the baby comes home? What kinds of bassinets? Straight to crib?

I used a pack n play with my 16month old son but he never slept great, so I’m wondering if I should try something else. Has anyone used the dock a tot type things to make a pack n play cozier? But is that safe for overnight sleep?

She has her own crib in her own room, but I don’t know if I’ll be ready for that quite yet...
