How do I end toxic friendship?

She's trying to be too friendly with my husband, Everytime I think of her I'm annoyed. My husband and her husband grew up together and their parents families get together all the time. I don't want things to end badly, I'm just tired of the negativity and anger I feel because of her. I invited her and her husband over for dinner last night because I wanted to try one more time, I tried to be friendly but she only seemed to be interested in my husband. They work together so that makes things more difficult. Do I just ignore her calls?

I just want to tell her, inviting someone's husband to go alone with you, is innappropriate and disrespectful. Barely speaking to me and being so excited to speak with my husband? If his "friendship" with him is your only goal stop reaching out to me and especially leave my husband alone. Posting a picture with my son without my permission, is disrespectful.

My husband has told her in the past that confiding in him Isn't appropriate and calling him everyday just to check in also isn't appropriate. She is still persistent even though he's said things twice.
