Bleeding after HSG Question - TMI

Had an HSG on Monday. Doc said “you passed with flying colors” which I assumed to mean not only did everything look ok but that there was nothing unusual about the procedure.

I had spotting the same day and almost no blood the next day. My preparation packet said spotting for 2 days is normal so I thought I was all good.

Bleeding got worse the next day and progressively for the next few days. Bright red, brown, pink, enough to get on a pad and multiple wipes each time I use the bathroom. I called and they pretty much said I was fine unless I had a fever or passed clots the size of a ping pong ball.

It’s day 6 since HSG and I’m still bleeding enough that it looks like my period. Took last round of letrozole and had a 32 day cycle, then a 20 day cycle, the HSG on day 8 of the following cycle, then seemingly this sort-of period but not really.

Is this still normal? Should I be worried? Luckily I’m going for my fertility consultation on Monday but I’m just anxious.
