When do you get your C section date?

I’ve got my “36 week” appointment with the obstetrician at 35+1, will I get my c section date at this appointment? I’m stressing because I’ve got my eldest daughter to sort out and my sister is meant to be having her overnight for me when I go in but she needs to book it off with her work place! Thanks in advance x

Push your Obs to give you a confirmed date - I personally feel they would prefer you to end up coming to A&E and having it then. I was booked around 28 weeks an appointment because I pressed and for various reasons as a precaution it’s booked two days before my due date and my friends have told me to insist it’s a week before.

Normally quite late like 35+ weeks as a lot can change. For you, other mums and them. If you go in yo labour in the mean time you call and explain you're waiting for a section date

Is that 100% what your having? 
Do you need it earlier for any reason? 
They might book it then depends on the reasons etc, and they can always be pushed back because of emergencies etc so I wouldn’t tell your sister is 100%
