Uppababy vista worth it?!

Question

So I’m a FTM and have been doing soooooo much research on strollers. I really like the uppababy vista but the price is just insane & I just wonder if I partly want it just for the hype.. ya know?! 
I am also interested in the mocking bird which is like half the price and even tho it doesn’t come with the bassinet I’m not sure I’d use it that much anyways? 
I also was given a stroller/car seat by a family member but it’s not wicked nice and doesn’t have that infant insert for the car seat. 
Plus I need something that works wel on dirt roads. So what are you opinions and what do you think is worth the money?

So not to knock the "expensive brand" or whatever but I personally  HATE any stroller with plastic wheels. That shot feels every bump and crevice in a freakin normal sidewalk. Changing to a jogger was life changing and I always tell my friends and anyone asking NOT to get the plastic wheels. If you want smoothness on a dirt road, go for a jogger.

I LOVE my vista but I live in a city so the large basket and seating options are super convenient for me. It’s a pain to fold and throw in a car and takes up our whole trunk, but we don’t drive very often. It does maneuver really well on our terrible sidewalks, cobblestone, and grassy areas in the park.

We did the Cruz and Mesa because it was so easy to maneuver in the store and get to fold down. The Mesa has great reviews- so we liked it to begin with. I’d say try out some at the store and make your decision based off of that. You might save yourself some cash!

Whatever you get, airfilled tires will save your life and make all the difference in the world with how easy it is to steer and go over anything other than a completely solid and level surface.

I absolutely love mine! My daughter is only 11 weeks and we have used it a bunch of times including the last 2 days with this random heat wave in the north. Have attached both the bassinet and car seat for quick in out grocery trips. I wanted a single to double as we hope to have another child close in age. I tested 7 single to doubles in the store and it was hannnnnds down my favorite in that category. For me function/ease of use is crucial. I needed something easy to open and close and lift into my car something that my infant car seat can clip into easily without an adapter (I got uppababy Mesa car seat) has good breaks and adjustable handlebar (I am 5’4 hubby is 6ft) the material are nice quality and the wheels aren’t flimsy. It has a smooth ride. Lots of strollers are junk this one isn’t. Before I got it I would ask moms when I saw them if they liked it and every single one said best purchase. One even said she started off with a super cheap stroller but a few months in went and got it bc she couldn’t deal with the crap wheels and jerky movement of that stroller. I strongly recommend testing and coloring at buy buy baby or where you can!

I am OBSESSED with my vista stroller and would highly recommend! It is very easy to maneuver around and I like that I can push one handed easily. I’ve found that it is very easy to fold/unfold and not overly heavy. Whenever my friends push my stroller they always comment on how easy it is to use.

Had my upperbaby vista for 7 yrs, I walked all over manhattan daily and then turn to double stroller. On weekend I leaves the city into trail and hiking. After my 2nd turn 3.5 I let a friend borrow until her daughter turn 3 and now I am taking it back for my 3rd child on the way. Perfect condition, you can replace part if needed but I never did with mine. 
It’s worth it if you use the stroller like it did.

Try some out at the store. I was dead set on the vista but ended up with the nuna mixx and nuna pippa lx seat.  We also bought ours used so we saved a ton of cash on it and it's only a few months old!
