Car seat???

First time mama here, and I’m so out of my expertise. So what are your recommendations on the best car seat and stroller sets out there experienced mamas??

Chicco keyfit 30. Used it with all 3 kids and using for 4 as well. It’s super light, holds up to 30lbs and one of the safest! 
Stroller we have the chicco bravo with is a car seat frame and Umbrella stroller in one and I also use my BOB for jogging and hiking.

We settled on nuna pipa lx. I live that they do extra testing and meet both European and American standards because European tends to have higher standards.  It's also one of the lightest on the market but also one of the safest. Since I have grip and strength issues in my hand this was huge for me. 
We also got the nuna mixx stroller,  the stand for the bassinet or car seat while traveling,  and are super happy with our choice. 
My biggest suggestion is hit the local baby shops and try everything!! Ours even had a 10 pound baby doll we could put in the seats to lift and feel lol. Really though taking our time to research and try them all for ourselves was key in our decision. The magic beans channel in you tube does great reviews on seats and strollers.

I'll be using my 16 month olds Graco Snugride 35. I bought it on sale for almost half off with the stroller when I got it.
They all have to pass the same tests, so any seat is safe. But please don't buy used! There is never any way to guarantee that it hasn't been in an accident etc., and most carseats aren't to be used again after any kind of accident.
I'd honestly look up travel systems, then see which ones you like the look of, then look at reviews for the stroller! Some strollers are seriously garbage, and you're gonna want a good one, especially if you'll be using it a lot.

I have an uppababy Mesa because it goes with the vista stroller. But i think if I could go back I would get the nuna lite one. After a few months I really struggled to carry the car seat with baby in it

Personally, I like Infasecure, only because I’ve been in a crash and I know that they are a really good safe and strong car seat. This baby I will again be getting an Infasecure seat 😊

I'm in the UK so our carseats are different to the US but I'll answer anyway in case it helps. For newborn I got a Britax Romer (babysafe I-size to be exact), when we went up a stage we got an Axkid (minikid). Britax is one of the top car seat brands, and (the european branches at least) do extra testing than minimum required. The Axkid minikid we got isnt for newborns, I'm not sure if Axkid to a newborn seat, but it has passed the strictest car seat safety test in existence currently.
For strollers we always go silvercross because they're top quality and top customer service (but also top price tag).
Strollers and carseats are the things we splash out on though, so we always go kinda expensive on these.
