I’m just curious
What is the reasoning for being so against nursing baby to sleep? Is it a personal preference or are there actual issues behind it? I nursed my big kids to sleep and they both stopped needing that on their own by about 6 months. Is it to prevent them from wanting to nurse when they wake up overnight? My first slept through the night at that point but my second slept through the night by 6 weeks despite nursing her to sleep. Why do we need to train them to stop it earlier when they all do it in their own by a certain age? With this LO, I was planning to let him nurse to sleep until a year and then try to find alternative sleep solutions if he didn’t on his own. At 4 months old, he still wakes around 4 times overnight (to nurse) and I’m just not bothered by it at all. I know he’ll eventually sleep. Am I the only one that feels this way 😳
