How long do I need to wait before getting a perm? (Pics)

Hello ladies. I struggle with knowing how to work with my hair texture unless it’s short or I have a perm. I’m in the process of growing out a pixie. I had a hard time finding pics that show the length of my hair well but here’s some recent ones:

I’m working on getting my hair healthier but also growing it to a point where a perm is both possible and will look like I want it to. Here’s some ideas of what I’m aiming for (not exactly lengths, but you get the gist):

So I’m wondering when y’all think I’ll be at a point where I can make an appointment and not have an atrocious mistake as a hairstyle. My hair grows very averagely. I’m taking biotin.
