So I have been a stay at home Mom and wife for almost two years now and I am pregnant again which means I'll probably be in the house at least another 6 months to a year and I HATE that my husband doesn't think that what I do is as hard as him working a full time job. He tells people "my wife doesn't work she just sits home all day." or he'll say "my wife doesn't do anything." And it really REALLY hurts my feelings and its very embarrassing when he blurts that out so nonchalantly because if I really did take a day to do nothing at all he wouldn't know what to do. Yes, he pays the bills and is the cook but I do everything else. I schedule doctors appointments, take care of the baby, do laundry, clean the house, etc. & he just makes me feel so under valued and when I say something to him he says "you were created to do the things you do." As if God didn't create the man to work!!!! I'm just so frustrated and emotional right now. I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's hard... what can I do to get him to understand?
