What did you use for a baby registry (or, registries) and why?

I registered at Buy buy baby, Target, Walmart and Amazon for the free welcome gifts but I will not be using walmart. Im going to use all the other 3 because you get a completion discount and it gives more options as some people are still jot internet friendly. Thebulk of my items are in buy buy baby and target.
Target and Amazon the stuff is a little cheaper and more convenient but I dont trust Amazon as much because they use alot of third party vendors, have counterfeiting issues and lack some quality control (i work for Amazon lol)
Buy buy baby is great cause you can go i  store and actually look/try out the stuff
They hive you a scanner or you. An use app and scan the barcodes on stuff you want. Also you can use coupons on top of sale prices. They also take bed bath and beyond coupons so you can loterally have a coupon for every item purchased. I made my husband sign up and use his coupons lol. 
Walmart free box. Takes a month to get. You just have to make a registry and add link to online form to get box. It comes with cute milestone cards.

This is the Amazon box. Youneed to be a prime member. It will come up at 35 dollars but when you go to checkout there is a promo coupon thing you use and it comes out free.

Target bag. You sign up and they send you a coupon by email. You go to store and redeem in the customer service desk. I would call ahead to make sure they have it in stock.

Buy buy baby bag. Free when you make a registry just go in store and pick it up. My husband and I went during a holiday event and they had snacks, activities and raffles. I won a teething mitt. We also picked up this bag and walked around the store scannong stuff we needed.

Potterybarn kids for things like my glider, sheets, blankets, etc. They have a decent completion discount, and high quality products. I also did Babiesrus for most of my items because they had lots of easy locations for my baby shower guests and for me, but now they’re closed. If I were to do a registry now I’d still use Potterybarn, but I’d use Buy Buy Baby instead of Babies r us. Many of my baby shower guests were older so they preferred physical stores rather than online shopping. I also created a private Amazon registry just for my husband and I to use to get the 20% discount.

I registered with Amazon, Target, and Walmart with my first pregnancy and now with my second. I would say Amazon and Target are really the only ones that I actually send to people when they ask because they have a lot of the things I want/need for baby and it's where a lot of people shop anyway and it's pretty affordable compared to like buybuy baby. I registered for all 3 partly for the gift boxes but also to give people different options. The way I did it was whatever I wanted/needed for baby I looked at where it was cheaper or a better deal (which was mostly amazon) and I added it to that registry. If there was something that wasn't on amazon or not the best deal on amazon, I added to which ever registry it was. I myself try to find the best and cheapest deals I can, I love to save money so even though it's other people that are buying gifts for me with their money, I still wanted to make it based on affordability. There is also a website called babylist that you can use solely as your main registry (and can get a gift box) or you can link every single registry you make to babylist so even though you may have 3 different registries, you literally only have to send one link to everyone and they can shop and browse all of your registries in one place. I registered for that as well, mostly for the gift box-but it is pretty cool.
