36 weeks contractions !!! OMG help so exited and nervous

So since 4 PM yesterday I’ve been having contractions they aren’t painful but come and go every 10-15 min , had an appointment this morning and she checked my cervix and said it’s not firm and tight anymore and that i am barley 1 CM dilated she said she can barley fit her fingertips but it’s definitely progressed since my appointment 2 weeks ago... does this mean my contractions were not Braxton Hicks ? When could I have the baby? This is my first pregnancy so anxious!
