Belly button

I got it pierced 4 months ago the guy said after 6 weeks I could submerge it in water I don’t think it’s ever healed it’s still a little red I clean it 2 times a day and now I’m going to a hot springs with my boyfriend this weekend and think I should just take it out I’m pretty sure my body is rejecting it so can I take it out myself or go somewhere? Or is there anything I can do to make it better
