NST showing contractions ?

Well I went to my 38 week appointment today and my cervix is closed 😭 i know it could change overnight but still disappointing 😩 my doctor did say she could see contractions on my NST so maybe all hope is not lost? Does anyone know what contractions on the NST could mean?

Probably Braxton-Hicks. I had a bunch during my NSTs

It's probably more like a Braxton hicks. I've had two nst done and the contracting it's just a bit of tightening, measures about a 20-30 on the machine. Not sure what a full on contraction number would measure though.
