Baby #2?

Question

When did you know you were ready for baby #2? My husband wants to ttc asap, but I'm not sure I'm 100% ready. I definitely want another baby at some point, but are you ever 100% ready?

Swore I wouldn’t try for a second after the experience with my first. 6 years later, we are trying! And really happy but not completely ready (though way better off than the first time around) 😂 I don’t think anyone ever really is though

No never 100% ready. I always wanted one but then after having 1 and falling so in love I really want another. Wish I wouldn’t have waited so long because at 40.5 lots of drugs, failed IVF nothing is happening so sad :( good luck!

I thought I would be 1 and done as I didn’t love pregnancy (very stressful but it was after a mc) but now my son is 13 months and I think I’m ready for #2. My hope is that no one else in the family will be due around the same time as me. Last year we had 3 babies born in March, including my son. I think I just want my own moment. Selfish?

I was going to wait until my son was five but he just turned two and I got hit full force with baby fever. I sincerely didn't think it would happen this early but now I'm excited and eager to test around the 20th

Never 100% ready. I said I would never after those contractions started. 12 years later trying to conceive again lol

I didn’t feel ready until my first was about 18-19 months old. I wanted to be done breastfeeding and her be a bit more independent. I also had a slightly traumatic first birth that involved a c-section so it took me a while to feel ready. Totally different for everyone!

Mine was 14 months then I went I to crazy overdrive that I needed another baby he's 16 months now

I wasn't really even thinking about having a baby cuz I had a few health issues for a year (finally have all resolved). I legit was sitting one day and realized omg he's 18 months. But even then I was like it's fine. Then all my friends started getting pregnant (we all had our kids around the same time) so I was like oh shoot I'm late. My son is now 20 months and I now feel ready to TTC for baby #2
