What kind of salsa is best on authentic tacos?

I dont use any. Only thing a taco needs is carne, onions, cilantro and lime.

I usually just do lime, cilantro and onions with the meat.. sometimes I'll do salsa, I like both red or green. Whatever I made I'd use if I wanted salsa on it.
