Currently in hospital being induced at 37+3

Went to see my GP yesterday afternoon for another prescription of heartburn medication where she noticed my feet were really swollen. She did 3 blood pressure readings which were coming back at 142/98. She asked to test my urine and it was showing protein ++.

She sent me up to the L&D ward where more of the same tests were carried out showing the same results although happy baby inside! Bloods were taken and within an hour doctor is informing me I have pré-eclampsia and that I wouldn’t be leaving the hospital.

I was induced last night 13th with a Propess inserted at 22:40pm. Currently 05:20am and having the worst cramps and tightenings. Am I right to assume these are contractions? Any mummies on here that have gone through this? Any stories are welcome about the process and the duration. Completely shitting myself at the whole experience! Xx
